Jack Peznola
Actor, Aerialist, Artist About….
Jack Peznola (he/him) has been a traveler and storyteller all his life. He was born in New York, raised in Boston, and now based in Austin, TX & Atlanta, GA. Recently he spent the last 4 years in marvelous San Marcos, Texas honing his craft.
He is a recent graduated from Texas State University with a B.F.A. in Acting for Stage & Screen, ranked among the top 25 drama programs in the world by The Hollywood Reporter; Along with his acting training, he also got a Minor in Dance.
His training is grounded in both physical and emotional storytelling, wanting to share the humanity of life with people. He has a particular passion for aerial artistry, most notably aerial silks, which he has been consistently training the past 6 years. He has incorporated his signature export of aerials into several of his performances including EVERYBODY(Aerial Silk), Treasure Island(Aerial Rope), and most recently The Happiness Gym at The Vortex Theatre(Aerial Silk). As well as earning his B.F.A., he has also trained at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, United Kingdom, performing as ‘Brutus’ in Julius Caesar in the San Wanamaker Playhouse.
He is drawn to work that explores human connection, emotional truth, and the shared experiences that bring people together. Through his work, he aims to tell stories that feel immediate, honest, and deeply human. He also has a deep love for comedy and character driven work, guided by a sense of play and curiosity.
Most recently, Jack appeared in the World Premier of The Happiness Gym at The Vortex Theatre in Austin, Texas, in which he performed as Ensemble, Featured Aerialist and was a Swing.
